I get the joke….but honestly….I think in the case of something like War and Peace….I’d prefer the abridged version myself. hahaha
I am determined to finish the entire, unabridged Les Miserables though!

I read an abridged version of Les Miserables once. They pretty much removed the entire Revolution. I could not even.
